ms-woodsworld: I’ve posted this image before. I love this image/gif, whatever you want to call it. At first glance you see the word “LOVE” boldly sparkling, as it should. Love is a beautiful feeling. But it’s more, and there are really no words to describe it, and why try. It’s an indescribable emotion… Feeling… Being. BUT, then you look closer, you notice something is slightly off. It takes you a few seconds to pinpoint exactly what that is, and it dawns on you, the word “HATE” is fueling the word “LOVE”. What is this? Why is this? Well, it’s this… When you’ve allowed yourself to be vulnerable to someone, opened yourself up to them, welcomed them in, you’ve given them the power to make you feel a range of emotions. With any luck it’s love and it lasts. But more often than not, something happens and the love is taken away. That’s where hate comes in. It helps people to heal. Now if only I could hate. That would make things easier, I think, to hate. But I can’t do it. That’s not me.
